Voters in Maryland approved the building of five new casinos in the state in a 2008 vote, and they are now getting down to the business of where to build them. Plans are in motion for the biggest of these five casinos, but it is meeting with some resistance. Supporters of the casino are quick to point out that the slots will bring much needed jobs and tax revenue to Anne Arundel Country, the proposed home for this casino and it’s 4,750 machines.
